Welcome to the website of the California Housing Workers' Compensation Authority. 

The California Housing Workers' Compensation Authority (CHWCA) is a California joint powers insurance authority established in 1991 for the purpose of providing workers' compensation coverage to California public housing authorities.  CHWCA was formed pursuant to Article I, Chapter 5, Division 7, Title 1 of the California Government Code (Section 6500, et seq).

New DWC-1 Posters and Notices Effective October 8, 2010

New state regulations take effect October 8, 2010, which will require California employers to make changes to the workers' compensation employee posting and DWC-1 claim form notices. To access the revised poster and claim form notice, log in to the Members Only section and go to the Workers' Compensation Claims page. The documents are located in the Workers' Compensation Claims Forms and Documents page.
